How to Setup the Trust connection

Please Note: This document explains the configuration required for the integrated function of HART with the Trust distribution channel. It does not explain how the Trust system works; it is a companion to set up HART to work together with any other distribution system supported by HART.

Trust Interface

To link HART PMS with Trust: 

STEP ONE
  1. Go to Configuration > Reservations > Distribution tab.
  2. In the bottom section of the window, click the Start button. This makes HART create all third party lines of information:
    1. Code: "TRU" for Trust
    2. Distribution Channel: The name of the distribution channel, in this case, Trust
    3. Source: Select the default source of the Trust reservations from the drop down menu.
    4. Segment: Select the default segment of the Trust reservations from the drop down menu.
    5. How Heard: Select the default how heard of the Trust reservations from the drop down menu.
    6. Profile: Select ‘Email’ from the drop down menu.

STEP TWO
  1. Go to Configuration > Access > Interfaces tab
  2. In the top left sectiion, right click and "Add Entry"
    • Interface: Enter "Trust"
      This MUST match the name that is enter within in the Configuration > Reservations > Distribution tab.
    • Type: Select 'Distribution' from the dropdown list.
  3. In the bottom section, right click and "Add Entry"

    SuperiorRateThe Rate Code for the Superior Rate. Trust should tell you how to name this, usually it is NN80
    CurrencyEnter "EUR"

STEP THREE
  1. Go to Sales Office > Rate Plans.
  2. Select the rate plan you wish to link to Trust in the top section
  3. Now to to the Channels tab.
  4. In the left section of the window, right click and "Add Entry", select 'Trust'

STEP FOUR
  1. Go to the Configuration > Reservations > Types tab
  2. Select the row containing the Room you wish to link
  3. In the bottom right section, right click and "Add Entry". Here you will enter the room codes as they are on Trust.
    1. Channel: Select "Trust"
    2. Code: Enter the room Code as it appears on Trust.
  4. Click Save
Please Note: The rate plan code in Trust and HART PMS MUST be identical for the integration to work.
Please check the Code field in the top section of the Rate Plans window and also within the Configuration > Reservations > Types tab.
