Via the Book Tee button on event lines of functions it's possible to make an initial tee time reservation connected to a function. Please note this tool is intended as a quick way to create tee times with management largely taking place via the golf diary.
Creating a tee time reservation from a function booking
Via the relevant Event Line of the function the Book Tee button should be pressed to launch the golf scheduling wizard
Within the scheduler input the following information:
Play: Whether the guests are playing 9 or 18 holes
Slots: The number of slots required. In this example there are 12 players in total so 3 * 4-balls are required
Ref: A reference to be shown against the reservation within the diary (e.g. the function name)
Type: A tee time type should be selected
Balls: Whether the booking is to start from the First or Tenth Tee
Once the above has been completed and the Availability button pressed it is possible to book tee times from the returned list. Please note the time of the first slot required should be selected following which the next available slots will be chosen for the further slots. This can be amended in the diary at a later stage
Updating guest names and tee times
As a standard tee times will be made in the same name as the guest connected to the function reservation. If the guest name against the function is updated then all tee times connected to the guest and function will also be renamed automatically. In cases where individual tee times have been re-named then these will not be updated, this is to ensure updated information isn't overwritten automatically.
If tee times requiring updating after reservation this should be done via the golf diary in the usual way. A guide to booking and managing tee times is available here
Cancellations
Individual tee times should be cancelled via the golf diary. In the event the entire golf day needs cancelling from the golf diary it's important to note that cancelling the function does not automatically cancel attached tee time bookings. This must be done via the Cancel button within the event line:
