A guide to the STR Interface

STR is an organisation that can provide data benchmarking of hotels against a comparative property set.  Further information on their services can be found here: str.com

Where an account is held with STR, Hart can interface with this by producing two files as part of the Close Day procedure: one file detailing the last 7-days performance and a further file detailing future business.

Historic Performance

This report includes:

• Rooms Available
• Rooms Sold
• Rooms Revenue
• F&B Revenue

Future Business

This report includes:

• Total Rooms Available
• Total Rooms Booked
• Transient Rooms Booked
• Group Rooms Booked

Implementation process

1) It is necessary for Hart to specific details of your account and the interface set up with STR

2) The PCs used to complete the Close Day procedure need to be identified so additional software can be installed allowing the transfer of data from Hart to STR

3) Interface details need to be set up within Configuration > Access
