By the end of this information article you will be able to:
- Create a task
- Create a project and initial task
- Schedule tasks within your project to repeat over a period of time
- Report on tasks over a period of time
Create a task
Navigate to Configuration > Housekeeping > Tasks and create the task(s) that need to be used within projects. In the example below a Mattress Turn task has been created
Via a right click in the lower left hand panel INSERT a new record and complete the name of the task and press SAVE
Create a project and initial task
Navigate to Configuration > Housekeeping > Projects and create the project name within the middle panel. Once saved in the lower panel the initial task for this project should be added
In the above example a project called Mattress Turn has been created and then the first task has been added and assigned to room 02D on 15/07
Schedule tasks within your project to repeat over a period of time
The initial task can be scheduled to repeat over a period of time either by:
- Day(s) of the week within the period
- At a set interval (by number of days) within that period
In the above example The Mattress Turn has been scheduled to repeat every Monday between 14/07/2022 and 30/09/2022. After Pressing the Schedule button a confirmation message will appear and the scheduling tool can be closed
The following tasks are created
Alternatively tasks can be scheduled to take place at a set interval of days
In the above example The Mattress Turn has been scheduled to repeat every 14-days between 14/07/2022 and 30/09/2022. After Pressing the Schedule button a confirmation message will appear and the scheduling tool can be closed
The following tasks are created
Reporting on tasks
Navigate to Reports > Housekeeping > Project Tasks. The report works with a date range to allowing both historic and future views to allow task completion checking and aid future resource planning
