How to use the Room Feature Allocation Tool

This article details the use of the Room Feature Allocation tool.

The tool can be used to place a flag against reservations where the room allocation needs to meet specific requirements, e.g. Twin-able or Pet Friendly. Where rooms should not be moved from their allocation the Do Not Move option should continue to be used

Via Reservations > Room > Features the required features should be added.  Multiple features can be added if required.  

The available features are loaded and attached to bedrooms via Configuration > Housekeeping and a full guide on this is available here

On allocating a room to the reservation where features exist the room feature filter will automatically appear

Pressing the Filter button will reduce the list of rooms to allocate to those available with those features assigned

If it is preferred or necessary the filter can be removed to show all available rooms

It is important to note that for this feature to work, all features must have unique feature codes and features must be assigned to rooms within Configuration > Housekeeping
