This guide walks through the features and set up of the PassportScan integration.
PassportScan (https://www.passportscan.net/) is a third party software that allows for the capture and storage of passport and identity documents from over 247 countries & territories. HART has developed an integration with PassportScan whereby arrivals are synched between HART and the PassportScan dashboard.
On arrival guests continue to be checked in via HART in the usual way. A log-in must then be made to PassportScan and the guest located either via name or room number. Following the process on PassportScan the document can be uploaded and stored within PassportScan's environment ready for future reference.
Please note it is necessary to have an active account with PassportScan (fees apply) and a live integration from HART (an integration fee applies, please contact HART support for further details). |
Configuration
Once an account has been established with PassportScan the Public Key is required to link HART and PassportScan. Within PassportScan this is located under Branches > Branch Name > Integrations.
Within HART the integration is first established via Configuration > Access > Interfaces with the example below containing the two fields required:
Once this configuration is complete please contact HART Support to complete the integration to allow data to flow from HART PMS to PassportScan
