At the end of this article you will be able to;
- Add a room condition
- Add an attendant
- Create the time for each room type
- Add interval service to a room type
It is assumed that your rooms and room types are already fully set up, if not then please see our article on how to configure rooms and room types
To add a room condition
Navigate to Configuration> Housekeeping on the right-hand side by right-clicking and adding an entry fill in all the relevant details.
- Order: free type an order number for the condition status which appears on the housekeeping quick status report when you click on the room. For example, an order may be Dirty > Maid in > Clean > Inspected, depending on your hotel procedures.
- Code: free type a code that can be seen on the housekeeping quick status report.
- Condition: free type the condition of the room
- Colour: double click in this field to give each condition a colour that can be seen on the housekeeping quick status report.
- Rentable: tick if rooms in this condition allow guests to be checked into the room(s)
- Assign: tick if rooms in this condition can be used in the housekeeping assignments facility

To add an attendant
Navigate to Configuration > Housekeeping and the attendant's tab by right-clicking and adding an entry, add the relevant details.
- Order: free type an order number that you wish the attendant to show when assigning rooms
- Code: free type a code for the attendants
- Name: free type the attendant's name
- Contact info: free type any contact information
- Preferred section: choose from the drop-down box the preferred section for the attendant
NOTE: this is required if you are using the auto allocation and links to the section column of the rooms set up. |
- Pin: free type a 4 digit pin number for use with HART APP, please see our how to use the Housekeeping App article.
- Availability: choose from the drop-down box the attendants availability
- Time: free type the shift time of the attendant
- Unit: choose the unit from the drop-down if applicable
Create the time taken to clean each room type.
Navigate to the service tab and on the left-hand side, you will see the room type, under each column fill in the relevant details.
- Stay: how many mins it will take a room attendant to clean a Stayover guest
- Departure: how many mins it will take a room attendant to clean a room that has a departure
- Pick up: how many mins it will take a room attendant to clean a room that is a pick-up. For example, a room that was clean and did not have a stayover or a room where the guests had checked in but decided they did not like this room.
- Pet: how many mins it will take a room attendant to clean a room that allows Pets
Adding interval services to a room type
On the right-hand side in the service window by right-clicking and adding an entry free type any interval services the hotel may offer for a room type and the time allowed. For example, you may have an amenities refresh for a Stayover guest.
Navigate to the bottom left-hand side window and with the room type highlighted choose the service from the drop-down that you wish to add, add in at what interval in days and how long you expect this to take
