Guest at hotel requires some set up in the back end of HART first, if you would like to activate this feature please log a ticket with us and we will set it up for you.
Guest at Hotel
The Guest at Hotel status in HART can be used when a guest has arrived early at the hotel and the room is not ready. The benefits of using this are:
- Charges can already be made via the POS to the guest account when GAH status is used
- Housekeeping can prioritise room cleaning if they know a guest has already arrived
- Reception can track who is already in the building from the arrival list
- When linked with a text message service, the guest can be notified when the room is ready via text
Using GAH on Reception
1. When the guest has arrived at the hotel and completed the registration card, change the status to Guest at Hotel by clicking on the Guest @hotel button on the right of the screen.
2. The guest will now appear on the POS and the facilities teams will be able to charge back to the room.
3. When the room is ready, you simply proceed with a normal check-in by pressing the check-in button.
