At the end of this article you will be able to;
- Understand how you can use the Forecast Template
Navigate to Reports > Sales > Forecast Template.
- On: choose the date to see what the booking pace was on that day from the dropdown calendar.
| Note: the date must be either today or a previous date |
- Booking Pace: by default, this will be ticked
- Period: choose from the drop-down the month and year that you wish to see what the boking pace was on the date you have chosen in the on field
- Tentative: tick here if you wish to include the tentative bookings
- Unit: press here and choose the unit if applicate
Press the running man to run the report
Example one
We are looking for the booking pace for 12th July 2022 for July 2022 for only definite bookings.
We are now comparing this to the same day last year 12th July 2021 for July 2021 bookings by choosing the below parameters.
| Note: any data that is before the on date in this case 12th July will be actual data, not a forecast, meaning 1st -11th July will be actual data. |
Previous year ( Actual)
- Rnts: displays the actual room nights for last year
- Occ%: displays the % Occupancy for last year
- Room revenue : displays the actual room revenue for last year
- ADR: displays the actual Average Room Rate for last year
- RevPAR: displasy the actual RevPARA for last year
On the books.
This data will either display actual data if before the 'on a date' or forecast data if after the 'on a date'
- Day: displays the date and day
- Level: displays what level you are selling at
- Rnts(All): displays the number of all room nights
- Rnts (Grp): displays the number of room nights that are in group bookings
- Room revenue: displays the room revenue
- ADR: displays the Average room rate
- RevPAR: displays the RevPARA
- OTB -7: displays the number of room nights 7 days ago
- ADR -7: displays the ADR 7 days ago
- Pick up: display the number of rooms that have been picked up in the last 7 days
- ADR Var: displays the avergae room rate variance over the last 7 days
- OCC%: displays the occupancy percentage

This report shows you your booking position for the calendar year in months and compares this to the same date last year, depending on the 'on day' you have entered.
