How to Give Discount on a POS Order

By the end of this article you will be able to;

• Apply a discount to a POS order

After you have created a new order and selected the desired items, you can press the Discount button in order to give a discount to the order or specific items in it. Once you press the Discount button, this window appears in front of you:

Here, you must check the Percent check box if the discount is based on percentage. Un-check if the discount is by amount. Right underneath, key in the percentage or amount of the discount. Then select the discount type. 

    • Item: If the discount is on a specific item (select the item on the right part of the window) 

    • Order: If the discount is on the entire order

    • Member: If the discount is on a specific membership card (key in the card number or swipe it)

    • Category: If the discount is on a specific category (Food, Beverage, Other)

Use the Reset button in order to reset the discount given or press the Exit button in order to close the Discount window. 

Press Save.
