This article covers the ways in which to take payment for Membership via integrated Terminals and also over the phone via MOTO (Mail Order Telephone Order)
Configuration
Initially the payment provider for taking integrated terminal payments must be defined via Configuration > Global > Advanced:
Within the boxed area the relevant payment provider must be selected from the Member drop down.
The configuration of MOTO payments will be provided by Hart Support as part of the general set-up of MOTO and ecommerce payments.
Taking payments
Integrated Terminal Payments
1) Within the Membership management area (Sales > Member) click on the Details button within the Financial Details section:
2) Once the new window has loaded, click the lower Add button:
3) Enter the amount to be taken and click the Terminal button following which a further window will appear and Proceed can be pressed to send the transaction to the terminal integrated with the specific machine
4) Once payment has been made the payment will automatically be posted with the correct card type and corresponding revenue posted also:
For Telephone payments where the customer is not present
Please follow steps 1) and 2) above however press the Credit Card button:
Following this the hosted payment page of your provider will load and the steps on screen should be followed.
Once payment has been made please close and re-open the Financial Details following which the record of the payment will be added. Please note the revenue will then need to be scheduled:
Via Financials
For new members or renewals it is likely that the Financials button (boxed below) will be used:
In this area only Terminal payment can be taken directly. The amount being taken should be entered and the Terminal button pressed:
